New Covenant University (NCU) is an academic institution of higher learning offering a non-traditional educational delivery system. This methodology allows for the provision of multi-track training for 21st century Christian service that is committed to the time honored traditions of Biblical orthodoxy, yet relevant to our modern culture in order to make application of these eternal principles.

New Covenant University offers nontraditional opportunities for continuing education, as well as distance-learning degree programs.

► NCU utilizes the world-wide internet as the primary technology available that is transforming all forms of communication, commerce and education today. This means you can learn at your own schedule regardless of location or time-zone!

► NCU embraces personalized  Self-learning coupled with an understanding teacher who is able to help us each reach our best abilities.

► NCU teaching objective is a one-on-one process, which we call Faculty Mentor. NCU faculty mentors are seasoned alumni but also trained and skilled in recognizing individual learning styles and needs.

All NCU courses are available via distance learning or external studies to anyone, anywhere.

Requirements include the following:

  • Computer
  • E-mail (Ability to send and receive attachments)
  • Ability to meet financial requirements
  • Ability to obtain required textbooks via NCU or other vendors from USA.

Definition of an Online Program

Distance Education

Education that uses one or more technologies to deliver instruction to students who are separated from the instructor and to support regular and substantive interaction between the students and the instructor synchronously or asynchronously.

Technologies used for instruction may include the following: Internet; one-way and two-way transmissions through open broadcasts, closed circuit, cable, microwave, broadband lines, fiber optics, satellite, or wireless communication devices which are used in a course in conjunction with the technologies listed above.

Distance Education Course

A course in which the instructional content is delivered exclusively via distance education. Requirements for coming to campus for orientation, testing, or academic support services do not exclude a course from being classified as distance education.

Distance Education Program

A program for which all the required coursework for program completion is able to be completed via distance education courses.
